ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) Indonesia akan kembali menyelenggarakan ASEAN Common Competency Program
(ACCP) untuk Merchandiser Level 2 di kantor API (Gedung Adhi Graha Lt.16, Jl.Gatot Subroto, Jakarta) pada 11 Februari 2012 (09.00-13.00).

Standard kompetensi meliputi: Material Sourcing, Product Preparation, Production Planning, Production Follow Up,
Problem Settlement dan Social Compliance.

Inisiatif ini dilakukan sebagai langkah antisipasi dalam
menghadapi integrasi ekonomi ASEAN pada
tahun 2015.Salah satu upaya krusial untuk peningkatan
daya saing adalah tentu saja peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia bagi
industri tekstil dan garmen sebagai motor bagi kemajuan industri itu sendiri.

Dalam rangka itu, paraMerchandiserdidorong untuk tersertifikasi sebagai pengakuan bahwa
kompetensinya memenuhi standard regional ASEAN dewasa ini. Sertifikat
dikeluarkan oleh AFTEX dan diakui seluruh negara-negara ASEAN sehingga perusahaan
tidak perlu lagi melakukan asesmen yang sama bagi karyawan maupun calon
karyawannya.
Asesmen dilakukan hanya melalui (test) tertulis dan dilakukan hanya dalam bahasa Inggris.

TIPS: Bagi yang butuh kain all over print (AOP) dalam jumlah kecil lebih efektif menggunakan sublimation printing. Keuntungannya tidak ada minimum quantity order dan mau berapa colour pun tidak ada additional fee.
